Okay, so my eyesight was horrible and being who I am, I skipped the glasses phase totally. No glasses for casey, thanks.
But steps to taking out contact lenses:
1. Wash hands.
2. Try to take out contact lenses.
3. Fail.
4. Google "How to take out contact lenses."
5. Wash hands again.
6. Try to take out contact lenses again.
7. Fail again.
8. Watch your mum take out hers.
9. Go back to own room.
10. Wash hands again.
11. Attempt to take out contact lenses.
12. Fail yet again.
13. Repeat steps 11-12 two to three times.
14. Success! =D
This process was not helped by the fact that I blink a lot and have very long thick eyelashes. Granted, I don't have to wear mascara...
Trust me, I'll get the process down. =)
Also, and quite randomly, the "think green" saint patty's day shirt which will most likely be 'recycled' as a cross country shirt. Now that's thinking green. Not. =)

Another random collecting of thoughts.
...After all, highschoolers ARE random, right? Or does that just apply to junior high kids?...making a card for your brother's birthday is hard when almost every bit of paper you have is printed with the likes of sock monkeys, polka dots, or pink pooky owls. Siiiiigh....And as for muffins, let's face it, they simply don't taste good if you leave out all the butter and substitute the sugar for the fake splenda stuff. I mean, sure, no fat, sugar free except for the little lumps of shriveled apple... healthy, yes, gross, indeed. But will I eat the regular fat and sugar content? NO!
=P

I can't believe I haven't posted this thing yet.
...yes, bad editing and all. But that's ned, sticking his head into Dumbledore's Pensieve. Er, a display at a kiddie museum. But it looks like Dumbledore's-Pensieve-from-the-fourth-movie, so we couldn't resist doing this... unfortunately, the kiddie visitors which ran up right after us didn't get it, and we left to general shrieking of 'Put your head into it!' So, what not to do in a kiddie museum. =)

you probably have a pair, too
They've been around since 1908, and will probably be around for some time longer.

On a roll
Cinnamon rolls are strangely satisfying to make--- all you need is a bit of bread dough, sugar, and of course cinnamon. For myself, naturally, I replaced the sugar with that splenda stuff; I've been on a low-sugar-low-fat thing for quite a while now. But still, the processes are the same: roll the dough thin, sprinkle liberally with cinnamon and sugar, carefully roll into a tube, cut into rounds on a cookie sheet, and pop into the oven for ten or twelve minutes. A neat trick is to use whole wheat flour. It adds so much body and flavor to anything you make.
My 10-year-old brother goes crazy over these. I can actually get him downstairs if I mention cinnamon rolls. See? Magic food. =)

Saint Patrick's day part 3
Yes, I am nuts to be making clay food stuff with a term paper and precis looming. But hey, I finished them! And yes, I did have more pics, but my computer is turning them at weird angles and won't easily let me turn them to how they *should* be.And, yes, my shoes... lovely things that they are.And modeling the three-sizes-too-big shamrock tshirt. It actually looks like it fits me here, so all is well...And yes, I *had* to paint my nails green. Funny thing here, most of the girls at school today were decked out in green, but all the guys forgot. =P

Saint Patrick's day part 2
Or, the fairies get new clothes and a real photoshoot....yes, in the backyard. The backyard is good for photoshoots... But anyways with three hours and a bunch of machine-embroidery, the fairies have new dresses. The problem with dressing fairies is that it is near impossible to dress them in anything, let alone clothing with legs or sleeves. Even in the winter, these fairies are doomed to be dressed in strapless, fluffy dresses tied on with bits of ribbon. There really isn't any other way of dressing them.I did, however, try to pep up their outfits a bit by using contrasting embroidery from my sewing machine. It worked fairly well, and carries a nice matching theme along all five outfits.Note ant (!!) and yes, I am aware that it's focused on her wing. One of the two wingless of the grouping.Note me, lol.
