so you get this

...I got a three-day weekend from school, so I really quickly colored this picture of HL.  I'm aware that there's too much purple in his hair, but it was a total speedpaint.

He has pretty eyes, yes?

warning---this is really depressing

Don't say I didn't warn you.  You know, next time I even THINK about illustrating a scene like this, someone needs to hit me hard in the head.  It was going along swimmingly until I decided to tear up Matt's eyes, whereinthen I wanted to curl up in a corner and cry for a few hours.

My writings affects me waaaaaaaaay too much.

zachary and cass say hi

...not the greatest ever of my work, but at least somewhat accurate representations of what these particular characters look like.  For the record, Cassie's skin should be the same shade as Peter's, but then, every painting turns out a little different.

And doesn't Zach look just almost too smug to live?

Real vamps (part 2)

Definitely not Twilight-esque, but so so cute!

After all, vampires are just undead humans.

still learning stuff

It may be summer, but I am still totally learning stuff.

Today I learned that most books have a book trailer on youtube.

I have to make/commission a book trailer?!

Maybe the publisher I don't have yet will do it for me.

What a Real Vampire looks like.  Or, at least to me.

scenes of epic proportions

Yeah, epic scene in the book.  Which, of course, I unfortunately cannot tell anyone about until the book is published, which may not even HAPPEN.  Whereinthen I'll have someone publish it posthumously.  Anyway.  Leah has the same position as Draco Malfoy on the Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince promotional theater posters, and it's driving me crazy, along with the fact that Alexa's head is ultra-enormous.  Augh.  At least it gives some feel for the situation...

the photos which were supposed to go on facebook...

That is, before my account was hacked or something.  Ironic how I get my camera back from the Disneyland lost 'n' found but then can't post the photos anyway?

Murphy's law.
